Saint Bart's Women's Prayer Group is organized to bring people together though Christ and membership in His family. As women we want to have fellowship while growing closer to Christ and encourage spiritual growth through praying together. Please come join our next prayer meeting, every Friday at 8:00 am in Meeting Room A!
This event occurs every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. We meet at the main drop off for the area at the First Presbyterian Church (Wayside), W 24th St, San Mateo at 7:30am. The trailer is unloaded into the vehicles for distribution. A delivery is made to 2604 Flores Ave to deliver to 26 clients. Six additional drivers make deliveries throughout the area. In all we service 48 households. Please contact Stephen Connelly, who is the liaison between Second Harvest and St Barts. He can be reached at 201-953-3229 and by email at [email protected]. If you are requesting food aid for your neighbors or family, please follow this link www.shfb.org to learn more about this life-giving organization of which we are a part.
Without the Brown Bag Program, many seniors in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties would be extremely isolated and at increased risk for undernourishment and illness. Buying nutritious food, is often last on their list. Every fourth Wednesday of the month, Saint Bart's preps Brown Bags to distribute food to our peers. Come join us!
Saint Bart's Men's Prayer Group calls all men to prayer, not only as individuals, but together. God needs all of His soldiers to take their place in the matching army of the Lord. Eucharistic Adoration is an act of thanksgiving and worship to Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, truly present in the Holy Eucharist. In every Mass the Catholic faith teaches that the bread and wine are changed into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ at the Consecration. Eucharistic Adoration begins following Friday 8 a.m. Mass and concludes at 8:00 p.m.
